The team at Perform Training are great and very supportive and I highly recommend them if looking at obtaining your Forklift license or First Aid and CPR. The training environment is welcoming and Grant and the team spend a lot of time and effort making sure each individual receives the appropriate support to fully understand the information being given and are prepared for the day of assessment. Overall I actually enjoyed my time during the course because the team seemed very knowledgeable and informative and believe I learnt a lot of valuable knowledge due to the teams experience and effort they put in.

Great forklift training experience!
I recently completed my forklift course at Perform Training (formerly Barclay Thomas), and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The trainers were knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything clearly, both in theory and in practice. The training facility was well-organized and safe, with all the equipment needed for hands-on learning. I felt supported throughout the entire process and well-prepared for the assessment. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get their forklift licence with confidence!

Highly recommended! Excellent training which has prepared me to be a confident and effective driver. And incidentally prepared me not to sweat the assessment too much...
The training is really well designed for the type of students that need a forklift license - lots of hands-on driving from the start for those of us that had never been in a forklift before, maths support for those that needed it, and exercises set up to embed the theory, so I not only remembered it for the test but will remember it afterwards too. Lots of simple explanations and practical coaching. Half the class didn't have English as a first language, but everyone picked it up quickly.
On the second day the assessor ensured that we all demonstrated the required standards, but in a way that didn't add to the anxiety of taking it. She even gave me some excellent tips in the debrief!
If you need a license but also want to learn a skill (not just to tick the box) then this is the course for you.
